"Sale Saturday" two-act musical play premieres at the Blue Sage! This theatrical performance is both poignant and amusing, and features 13 original songs by local musician Zach Mann. Tickets are $20 for the June 5th premeire and include a gala cocktail and appetizer reception; June 6th & 7th tickets are $12.

The Travis Mann Band returns for a show at the Blue Sage! Local coal miner and musician Travis Mann has recorded his second Nashville album and will return to Colorado for a much anticipated concert event. Tickets are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Call the Blue Sage for ticket outlets. |

Award-winning songwriters JD Martin and Jan Garrett make their Paonia concert debut, joined by their long-time musical cohorts and local favorites Bobby Mason and Ellen Stapenhorst. It'll be an evening of gospel-flavored jazz, folk-rock and all around great music and good times-dynamic, inspiring and fun. Second Annual "Paint Paonia" Pleine-Air Competition will be held in conjunction with the annual Cherry Days celebration. Winning entries will be auctioned off on Friday, July 3, during the 2nd annual Writers Anthology reading. A silent auction of the remaining art will take place from 10 am Friday (July 3) through 5 pm Saturday (July 4) in the Blue Sage hall. "Occupied," a multimedia presentation developed by LeraLee Whittle and Paul Sprawl. The production spans video, dance, music, and theater with selections from a young Iraqi blogger called Riverbend. "Occupied" is about the occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq, and the minds of Americans. Cost is $5.

Jason Wilder of Woody Creek, Colo., in concert at the Blue Sage Center for the Arts. Jason has shared the stage with Leon Russell and John Lee Hooker, Jr. He recently opened for Ryan Sharpe and the Rubberband at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. A highly versatile, talented performer, he combines elements of the classic singer/songwriter sound with modern rock, pop, and folk. Tickets are $8 for members and $12 for public. |

Myshkin (of the Ruby Warblers) and Iguana perform a joint show at two venues in cooperation with KVNF and the Blue Sage. Catch Myshkin at 7 p.m. at the Blue Sage and Iguana at 9 p.m. at the Paradise Theatre. Myshkin has released 5 critically acclaimed records, been honored with several music industry awards and toured internationally with dozens of artists, including The Be Good Tanyas and Split Lip Rayfield. The Holden Young Trio (HY3), a Boulder-based rock band with a funky beat favorite, has been playing to sold out crowds from Montana to Telluride. They opened for the Motet at the Fox theater in Denver, and were joined by Stu Cook and Doug Cosmo of CCR while performing onstage at the Appaloosa. The Goo-la-la's open the show. Put on your dancin' shoes and don't miss this one! $8 members, $12 public.
