	FEBRUARY
	Saturday, Feb. 24 at 7:30 pm Western Slope Concert Series with Gabe Mientka (cello) and Anca Lupu (piano). Join us for a concert with Romanian flair and beautiful music for cello and piano. Western Slope favorite, Gabe Mientka returns from Frankfurt, Germany with brilliant, award winning, Romanian pianist, Anca Lupu. She has performed in Europe and South America. The duo will present works from great Romantic composers. Tickets available at Finishing Touch in Delta, Hardin's Foods in Hotchkiss, and Farm and Home in Paonia. $15 in advance, $18 at the door. 	Saturday, Feb. 27 at 4 pm Special Blue Sage Member Meeting! We invite you to attend a special membership meeting at the Blue Sage to share your ideas with the board about the Sage's direction. We believe this to be an historic turning point for the Blue Sage, so please mark your calendars and plan to attend. If you are not currently a member, you may renew at the meeting. 	Saturday, Feb. 27 at 7 pm Trance (or Wave) Dance with Stonehenge-trained Druid Ivan McBeth. This is Music & Dance for cleansing & healing. Come feel the positive energy and let the music do its magic! $5/person. Ivan leads the Green Mountain Druid Order in Vermont with his wife Fearn. 	Friday, March 5 Blue Sage Survey Deadline The Blue Sage board is working on a strategic plan to take us into the next decade! Input from Blue Sage members is key to our success. Now is the time to step up and let your voice be heard. Please fill out our online survey by March 5th.
	Tuesday, March 16 at 7 pm Opera Colorado's Romeo & Juliet! The talented troupe from Denver will perform Romeo & Juliet, (appropriate for ages over 12) followed by Arias & Ensembles -- a delightful medley of popular operatic and musical theatre. The performance includes background information and interesting facts to educate and entertain. Not to be missed! $8 student/senior, $12 members, $15 public. (Limited student scholarships available.) 	Masked Ball - music (swing band), costumes, food and festivities in a Halloween atmosphere - Saturday before Halloween.
	Paonia Holiday Arts Festival - many booths - wonderful handmade arts and crafts, in addition to a fine arts show - first Friday and Saturday in December.
	New Year's Eve Extravaganza Thank you Bernie Heideman for sharing your Dances of Universal Peace, and thank you Strolling Scones for sharing your new album this New Year's Eve!
